• CUA51520 Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) (2 Year Course).

The Diploma in Dance Qualifications delivered at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance are nationally accredited programs for students who aspire to be professionals in the dance and entertainment industry in Australia and abroad.

Students at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance complete these qualifications over a two year period where they are encouraged to develop and consolidate their skills in both practical and theoretical studies to allow for the best opportunities in the dance and entertainment industry.

The course provides elite level education by industry professionals through competitive training and a nationally accredited qualification for pre-professional students in all genres of dance as well as voice, acting and acrobatics. 

Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance has an auspicing agreement with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) COSAMP (RTO # 41549) under a Third Party Auspice Agreement. COSAMP is responsible for maintaining compliance requirements as per the ASQA Standards for RTOs 2015, and COSAMP is the RTO who will be issuing student Qualifications or Statement of Attainment on completion.

Certificate IV are provided under special circumstances.

CUA50220 Diploma of Musical Theatre (2 year course) course and prepares aspiring
Musical Theatre professionals with tuition from a huge variety of industry leaders.

Students at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance complete these qualifications over a two year period at an elite level in preparation for a career in the competitive arts and entertainment industry.

Students of these nationally accredited qualifications will develop specialised skills in all genres of dance, voice and acting and gain a sound theoretical understanding of their chosen field.

DANCE TEACHING & MANAGEMENT:

CUA40313 CERTIFICATE IV IN DANCE TEACHING AND MANAGEMENT

This practical and theoretical qualification prepares the student to work in a variety of teaching environments. These include primary and secondary schools, private dance schools and collaboration with our partners State School Spectacular and Wakakirri. Under the supervision of an assessor each student is required to complete teaching placements in and outside of Ministry of Dance as well as participate in the organisation of productions. The Dance Teaching and Management qualification also includes business and administrative units relevant for future careers as dance studio owners and teachers.

Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance Full Time Course offers an International Full Time Course for aspiring students that are not permanent residents or citizens of Australia or New Zealand.

Following an online or DVD audition process and interview, international students are accepted on a three/four month basis (pending on individual Visa restrictions) to participate in the Full Time Course. Here the student will be immersed into a discovery of a variety of dance genre's and cultural experiences.

Students will partake in the full amount of classes and productions delivered in the Full Time Course for the duration of their visit. Please refer to our Calendar & Performances page for more details on this.

 
 

HOW TO APPLY:

Step 1 - Create an online audition video:
To audition for our International Full Time Course - we require x 1 video audition of up to 1 minute in length of your chosen style.
(Please ensure that we can view your technical standard from the video). All video submissions will be uploaded with your form (Step 2).

Step 3 - Receive Outcome / Visa commencement:
You will receive the outcome of your audition submission from the Full Time Course department via email. In the instance of a successful application you will additionally receive instructions regarding your visa type and date of commencement/conclusion information within this email.
 

*Length of stay is dependent on Visa applicable. Due to our studio being non-CRICOS approved, all international students will need to apply for either a VISITOR or WORKING HOLIDAY Visa in order to study at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance upon a successful entry into the course.
